Create Charged Study Spaces in Spidle Hall

Auburn’s College of Human Sciences is growing. With more than 1,400 students in Spidle Hall every week, our historic building is running out of accommodating study space.

With your help, we hope to transform an existing space to add seating, charging stations and workspace so that students have a place to delve into their studies and collaborate outside of the classroom.

Students often line the hallway floors and stairwells just to sit down, charge their computers, and break out their textbooks for between-class study time. This often makes hallways virtually impossible to pass, plus there are no outlets to charge their required laptops.

Here in CHS, we want to encourage that studious behavior by providing an innovative, open space within Spidle for students to study freely outside of class.

The extent of our renovations depends on the extent of your generosity. As a thank you for your support, we will proudly display all donor names within the new study space to inspire students for years to come and set an example of philanthropy for our future alumni.
