Help Auburn’s Clay Shooters Stay on Target

Founded and led by students who love shooting sports, Auburn's Clay Shooting Club is destined for success. But we need your help to get there.

This Tiger Giving Day, help students in the club compete in the upcoming ACUI Collegiate Clay Target Championship — the staple event of collegiate-level competitive clay shooting.

We compete against other colleges, including many schools that have varsity shooting programs with Olympic-level scholarship shooters. We’ve represented Auburn well against that competition and want to continue to do so this year.

Last year, 1000 shooters from nearly 100 different schools competed in the week-long championship event in San Antonio, Texas, and this year is shaping up to be even larger.

We could only afford to send seven shooters last year, but this year we won't be able to send any of our team without your support. Funds raised will help cover travel expenses, lodging, and competition fees.

Athletes will shoot 100 targets each in six different events: American Trap, American Skeet, Sporting Clays, American Doubles Trap, American Doubles Skeet, and Super Sporting Clays.

We tied for third place in American Skeet for our division during last year's championship. This year, if we can make it to the competition, we have the ability to place even higher, and also place in more events.

We appreciate your support of the team and are looking forward to keeping our donors updated during the competition, live from San Antonio.

Thank you and War Eagle!
