Stock the Honors College Service Closet

Engaging in our community and serving with compassion is a value held true by every Honors College student. In fact, each Honors College graduating class participates in roughly 8,000 hours of service work by the time they receive their diplomas.

To support these students who build, tutor, and transform the lives of those around them, the Honors College is creating a Service Closet. This Service Closet will hold the numerous supplies our students need for their important service work across Alabama.

These items include materials like: ACT prep books, trash bags, pens, paper, work gloves, storage bins, sunscreen, four-function calculators, and more.

This Tiger Giving Day, our goal is to raise enough funds to purchase the critical supplies necessary to serve our state.

A simple gift of $15 will purchase a four-function calculator that an Honors student can use to tutor a high school student in Loachapoaka, or a $30 gift can purchase a safety helmet for a student helping to build a wheelchair ramp for an Auburn family’s home.
