Give Access to Grad School Test Preparation and Review Materials
Tiger Giving Day is an annual opportunity for units like the Office of Inclusion and Diversity to focus in on the priority needs of our campus and for our students, in particular. Assisting our students with taking the next step after undergraduate completion is an important aspect of our work.
We find that many students do not have the necessary resources to effectively prepare for graduate entrance examinations and/or to engage in graduate school visitation opportunities.
Underrepresented and first-generation students often encounter financial and access barriers to education. These include limited tuition assistance, restricted access to corporate talent pipelines, and insufficient resources for successful graduate and professional school admission. To address this, and other challenges, the Office of Inclusion and Diversity has created the Reimagining Inclusive Scholastic Excellence Fund (RISE).
This Tiger Giving Day, our goal is to create scholarships for graduate and professional school preparation courses ensuring talented students have the resources and opportunities to pursue their educational and career goals.
Funds raised on Tiger Giving Day also will create a graduate and professional school preparation resource library that will be housed in the Cross Cultural Center for Excellence, located in the Auburn University Student Center. Your support will assist the Office of Inclusion and Diversity as it strives to create a more inclusive and equitable learning experience for all Auburn students.
Please join our office in supporting the success of our students who wish to enter graduate and professional schools to become future professors, attorneys, medical doctors and veterinarians in our community, throughout the state, and nation.
