Support Scholarships for Veterans

Each year, veterans leave the service in search of their follow-on assignment to change the world. Most of these men and women have earned educational benefits to lean on. However, since the post-9/11 GI Bill was signed into law in 2008, we have come to recognize that one size does not fit all. There are significant deficits, especially to those of us who may have families, reduced benefits, or in some cases not qualify for any benefits at all.

This Tiger Giving Day, please join us to provide student veterans with the support they need to continue their education. With your help, we can ensure that student veterans’ dreams of being an Auburn alumnus do not expire with their benefits.

Student veterans are unique on campus. Some of us are older, some have started families, some are fresh out of their first four-year enlistment. The things that make us similar are the reasons student veterans have a 0.4 higher GPA performance compared to traditional students. 

Attention to detail, time management, and training in the world’s most diverse military are just a few reasons for the distinct accomplishments of student veterans.
