Together We Will Scholarship

In collaboration with the Auburn Athletics Task Force on Inclusion and Race Relations, Auburn Athletics announced the Together We Will initiative in September. Auburn Athletics has teamed up with the Office of Inclusion and Diversity with the goal of supporting and advancing the Auburn Family in its quest to shape a more diverse, inclusive and equitable campus community.

As a part of the Together We Will initiative, Auburn athletic teams have incorporated the Auburn Unity Symbol on their uniforms, equipment, warm-up gear or travel bags. The logo serves as a visual representation of people from all walks of life coming together and uniting as one.  Last fall, the purpose of Together We Will came to life when students in OID’s Tiger Excellence Scholars Program (TESP) spent time with Coach Pearl and Coach Flo to discuss their experiences as Auburn students. That conversation was the first of many to come and serves as an example of the strength of the Together We Will campaign.

Join Auburn Athletics and the Office of Inclusion and Diversity this Tiger Giving Day, and support our initiative to increase diversity by supporting the Together We Will Scholarship fund. Our goal is to raise $20,000. 

The Together We Will Scholarship was created to support the University's efforts to achieve a robust and diverse enrollment of students while enhancing access, affordability and academic quality.  While recipients of Together We Will scholarships are not student athletes, Auburn Athletics and OID will continue to work together to create a unified Auburn Family.

Each recipient of the Together We Will scholarship shall be selected by the General Scholarship Committee with recipient eligibility subject to review by the Office of University Scholarships. The amount of each scholarship shall be disbursed at regular intervals during the school year in accordance with normal University policies.
