Drive Auburn to the Indy Autonomous Challenge

Help our Autonomous Tiger Racing Team get to the Indy Autonomous Challenge in October 2021!

The Samuel Ginn College of Engineering has the opportunity to participate in the first-ever Indy Autonomous Challenge, a $1.5 million prize competition to win the world’s first head-to-head, high speed autonomous race taking place at the famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Prepared to rise to the challenge, Auburn Engineering plans to send the Autonomous Tiger Racing team, an organization comprised of students from Auburn University’s GPS and Vehicle Dynamics Laboratory (GAVLAB). The Autonomous Tiger Racing team has already completed two challenges and finished in the top five.

The funds from Tiger Giving Day will help our Autonomous Tiger Racing team with the cost of purchasing the vehicle for the event in October. The Indy Autonomous Challenge has the potential to transform and innovate research in autonomous vehicles.

Join us as Auburn Engineering’s Autonomous Tiger Racing team drives the future of autonomous vehicles forward.
