Provide Personal Protective Equipment for Community Service

Join Auburn Honors College students in the fight against poverty and hunger by supporting our hallmark community-serving programs.

Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Honors' ability to engage in hands-on community service has been severely limited due to a lack of personal protective equipment (PPE), as many of our community service sites now require us to provide our own PPE and supplies.

This Tiger Giving Day, help us raise $10,000 to purchase these necessary items and cover the cost of transportation so that we can deliver important community support, and excitingly, focus on a new community service effort this year: alleviating period poverty (a lack of access to safe, hygienic sanitary products and the inability of menstruators to manage their periods with dignity).

With your help, our Honors students will partner with school districts in six counties to help educate middle and high schoolers on period poverty and its effects and assist over 5,000 students in need of resources. Generous donations will go towards educational materials, interprofessional training and activities, travel, and more.

Support the Honors College this Tiger Giving Day and help us alleviate period poverty!
