Build Esports Lounge on Campus

Auburn Student Affairs and Auburn Student Involvement, in collaboration with Auburn Esports, are thrilled to announce the addition of a state-of-the art Esports Lounge on the first floor of the Melton Student Center. 

This space will not only give students a place to build community, but it will also be used as an educational space. 

Esports is a billion-dollar industry that continues to grow in popularity around the globe. Students interested in pursuing a career in the Esports or gaming industry will have opportunities to learn more about game design and business management.

This space will include 40 gaming pods that will allow for PC and console gaming as well as a lounge with high-definition TVs for additional console gaming options. 

For the lovers of the classics, there will also be a section dedicated to arcade style games like Pac-Man. The lounge will also house a competition space for the Auburn University Esports team that will include ten additional PCs for competition play. 

 The lounge will also include a dedicated streaming space that can double as an announcer’s booth for competition. 

Your gift of support for this new space will allow Auburn to have the premier Esports Lounge in the Southeastern Conference.
