Resident eagles from the Auburn College of Veterinary Medicine’s Southeastern Raptor Center have been circling the stadium since 2000, when golden eagle Tiger, War Eagle VI, made a short flight from the end zone to midfield. Tiger’s first 50-yard hop has since evolved into today’s flights around the stadium.
Nova, Aurea, Spirit, and Independence have carried on the storied tradition. And now, you have a chance to be part of it.
The Southeastern Raptor Center is home to these and other species of rehabilitated raptors. The SRC team educates the public about many different raptor species and rehabilitates injured and orphaned birds brought to the center for care.
Helping the Raptor Center meet these critical missions is why Auburn fans and friends are being offered the special opportunity to help sponsor one of only eight pregame eagle flights during the 2022 football season.
Each sponsorship directly supports the rehabilitation and education missions of the center through facility upgrades, food for resident raptors, medical supplies and other mission-critical needs.
Secure your place in eagle flight tradition history by helping us fund the first eagle flight sponsorship of the 2022 season this Tiger Giving Day. Together, we can support Auburn’s treasured eagles and help provide the best possible life for our resident raptors.
