Network with the National Association of Black Accountants

The National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) at Auburn has provided mentorship, connections, and professional development opportunities for its members in its inaugural year. This organization provides a space for students to build community with other students and alumni, prepare for unique challenges and opportunities within the workplace, and elevate the voices of underrepresented students.

By giving to the Harbert College's chapter of NABA today on Tiger Giving Day, you are meeting both immediate and long-term needs that will enhance the NABA student experience. 

These needs include helping cover conference expenses, supporting the creation and production of promotional and recruitment materials, allowing for community-building and professional development opportunities, and more. Your gift will help us recruit, retain, and invest in these business leaders both personally and professionally for years to come.

The NABA chapter at Auburn University is open to all Harbert College of Business students regardless of major and has no minimum GPA requirement. We strive to create an uplifting, inclusive community within the Harbert College of Business. In its first year, NABA at Auburn has 23 official members and has engaged many students outside of the organization through their events. 

"The mission of NABA, Inc. nationally is to address the professional needs of its members and to build leaders that shape the future of the accounting and finance profession with an unfaltering commitment to inspire the same in their successors. The Association shall unite through membership accountants, finance and business related professionals and students who have similar interests and ideals, are committed to professional and academic excellence, possess a sense of professional and civic responsibility, and are concerned with enhancing opportunities for minorities in the accounting, finance and business related professions."
