Auburn University is committed to enhancing access and affordability — and to recruiting the best and brightest. We recognize that visiting campus is a key part of the college selection process.
Seeing and experiencing firsthand the places you will learn, grow, change and spend the next four years of your life is crucial for students. Auburn, with its beautiful campus and historic buildings, has a feeling of home that can’t be experienced in a brochure.
But, even for some in-state students, visiting Auburn’s campus can seem out of reach. Travel, lodging and food can make a visit cost prohibitive.
We created Experience Auburn so students with outstanding academic achievement can visit our campus, despite financial need.
Experience Auburn is for high school juniors and seniors of all races and ethnicities with demonstrated financial hardship — particularly students who are first in their families to pursue a four-year college education or who reside in a highly rural county.
Eligible students are:
- High School juniors or seniors. Preference is given toward admitted seniors.
- Students of all races and ethnicities with demonstrated financial hardship, as determined by eligibility for free/reduced lunch, the Federal Pell Grant, or an Application Fee Waiver.
- Students who are first in their families to pursue a four-year college education or who reside in a highly rural county.
Please help bring the brightest minds to campus. Let’s show them how Auburn can be a part of their future.
