Tiger Giving Day is over, but you can still give to the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering here.
The Brown-Kopel Makerspace is a unique amenity for Auburn Engineering students. Students can create projects of their own, applying concepts learned in the classroom to several machines in spaces including the wood shop, the metal shop and the prototype shop.
Your gift on this Tiger Giving Day will create more opportunities for students in the Makerspace through new and updated machines. Your gift will go toward machines that are needed to enhance and further the abilities of the Makerspace, specifically in the wood shop, metal shop, machine shop and powered hand tools.
Extra funds will also provide for materials in these spaces. Through these additions, more students will be able to gain invaluable hands-on experience in the Makerspace, better preparing them for their future careers.
Any Auburn Engineering student can access the Makerspace after completing training sessions, making it a collaborative and inclusive space. Students are encouraged to work with students from other majors, giving them a chance to branch out and benefit from interdisciplinary experience.
Thank you for partnering with us! War Eagle!
