Tiger Giving Day is over, but you can still give to the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering here.
Members of the engineering honors society Tau Beta Pi are encouraged to be well-rounded in both scholastic achievements and community service.
This Tiger Giving Day, Tau Beta Pi is raising money to expand its outreach in the local community through the bi-weekly tutoring of local K-12 students in STEM subjects.
Your gift will be used for Sphero SPRK+ robots to be used in STEM demonstrations in local classrooms, as well as breadboard components and other small electronic components.
By partnering with Engineering’s Office of K-12 Outreach, Tau Beta Pi will also be able to connect these students to the “Future Engineer” program in the Outreach office. Through this program, they will continue to learn about engineering through monthly mailouts and events.
Your generous gift on Tiger Giving Day would make all this possible. Thank you for your partnership in this great opportunity to both benefit the local community and create more well-rounded engineering students!
