Tiger Giving Day is over, but you can still give to Student Affairs here.
Every year, the ultimate goal of the Collegiate Cattlemen & Cattlewomen’s Association is to educate and inform our members about the beef cattle industry. We achieve this through numerous ways that include speaking at club meetings, conducting farm tours in Alabama, and attending the National Cattlemen's Beef Association (NCBA) annual convention.
This convention allows attendees to network with industry professionals, listen to educational seminars via Cattlemen's College, and walk through an expansive trade show. All of these experiences provide a learning experience few trip members have had.
The students who attend the NCBA convention can employ their knowledge gained in the future, as well as articulate the information learned to fellow students, local industry members and their family.
However, attending NCBA puts a heavy financial burden on our club. Each attendee's total cost for registration, travel and hotel reservations is nearly a thousand dollars. Any money generously donated over our goal will continue to pay for these costs, and help our club continue to strive towards our goal of educating our members through the current Spring and upcoming Fall Semesters.
Thank you and War Eagle!
