Soaring with the EAGLES

We are raising funds to increase the number of students with intellectual disabilities who can attend Auburn through the EAGLES program. Thanks to a generous donor, all gifts received will be matched, up to $50,000.

In just a few short years, the EAGLES program has become the heart of campus, with students, faculty and staff, and the entire Auburn Family seeking to know our EAGLES students and support them as they shape their own unique Auburn experience.

The Education to Accomplish Growth in Life Experiences for Success program, better known as EAGLES, began in 2018 and gives students with intellectual disabilities a two to four-year on-campus experience that prepares them for meaningful employment, and equips them with the life skills to live independently.

With your help, we can ensure more students with intellectual disabilities have access to the life-changing experience they’ll only find at Auburn, through the EAGLES program.

Providing a comprehensive program like EAGLES for students like Grace and Josh is expensive, costing families up to $50,000 per year. Generous support from the Auburn Family has helped us provide some services at no cost to students but the program is still out of reach for many families. This means students who often need a program like EAGLES the most won’t be able to attend.

Your gift will help us make this valuable program more accessible regardless of socioeconomic background, and provide much-needed support for families struggling to make the Auburn Experience a reality for their student — in essence, helping them join the Auburn Family.

And that’s what being part of this family does for all students — it gives them a distinctive Auburn experience and equips them to leave campus and live independent, successful and productive lives. Please help us offer this valuable experience to more students with intellectual disabilities.
