Reduce Food Insecurity Among Auburn City School Students

Not knowing where your next meal might come from is a very real problem for several families and children in the Auburn area.

The Auburn Sustenance Project, spearheaded by student leaders, tackles the pressing issue of food insecurity among Auburn City School students. With more than one-third of students reliant on the free and reduced-meal program, this initiative steps in during school breaks to provide vital meals and snacks that would otherwise be missed during school breaks, such as summer break, winter holidays and spring break.

This Tiger Giving Day, help fight food insecurity by assisting the Auburn Sustenance Project with funds to help purchase storage solutions for food, wagons for transportation, hand carts, a deep freezer, distribution bags, and plastic bins.

Your gift will bolster their efforts, enabling the purchase of essential equipment like storage units, transportation tools, and distribution materials.

By expanding their reach to over 1,000 students per distribution, this project will not only nourish bodies but also nurture academic success, emotional well-being, and community ties.
