Give the Auburn Experience to High School Seniors

Auburn University is committed to enhancing access and affordability—and to recruiting the best and brightest. We recognize that visiting campus is a key part of the college selection process. Seeing and experiencing firsthand the places you will learn, grow, change, and spend the next four years of your life is crucial for students. Auburn, with its beautiful campus and historic buildings, has a feeling of home that can’t be experienced in a brochure.

But even for some in-state students, visiting Auburn’s campus can seem out of reach. Travel, lodging, and food can make a visit cost-prohibitive. We created Experience Auburn so students with outstanding academic achievement can visit our campus, despite financial need.

Experience Auburn is for high school juniors and seniors with demonstrated financial hardship—particularly students who are the first in their families to pursue a four-year college education or who reside in a highly rural county.

As a featured project for Tiger Giving Day 2022, Experience Auburn has seen great results. In the first two admission cycles since the program began, 75 percent of students from the Experience Auburn Program have enrolled in the university. We need you to help us sustain this highly personalized and impactful program.
