Ensure Academic Coaching for Students with Autism and ADHD

Executive functioning disorders like ADHD, dyslexia, Autism, and anxiety do not affect a student’s intelligence, but they do affect their ability to learn. Unfortunately, neurodivergent students are less likely than their neurotypical peers to complete their college degree, despite their interest, motivation, and intellect. That’s where SKILL comes in.

SKILL Coaching helps students with executive functioning disorders reach their academic potential at Auburn. We help students with the organization, time management, decision making, and goal setting skills affected by their disability.

Because SKILL is a fee-based program, some deserving students are not able to take advantage of its services. We currently offer a limited number of need-based fee waivers each semester. Our Tiger Giving Day goal this year will allow us to offer executive function support to even more deserving students at free or reduced cost.

Our goal is to help neurodivergent students reach the finish line and provide Auburn with more exceptional alumni. SKILL was the first academic coaching program of its kind in the SEC, and remains one of the most highly-regarded programs in the country.
