Digitize Auburn's Oldest Athletic Film Reels

Be a part of preserving priceless Auburn history by funding the digitization of the University’s oldest athletic film reels!

Auburn Athletics would like to convert old film reels to digital in order to better preserve historical film of athletic events and student-athletes.

Athletics currently has roughly 15,000 tapes stored in archives. As time passes, these tapes begin to deteriorate and at a certain point, they are no longer salvageable.

With a goal of $30,000, this campaign will allow the War Eagle Creative team to begin digitizing film that is nearing the end of its shelf life, as well as film that contains historic events and features student-athletes from iconic Auburn teams and games.

Digitizing these tapes will allow for the preservation of content currently housed on film tape and will help to ensure Auburn Athletics history is saved and available for future generations.
