Develop Global Business Leaders

Did you know less than three percent of Harbert College of Business students study abroad? This Tiger Giving Day, the Harbert College of Business is seeking to raise at least $10,000 to help develop global business leaders.

Students who participate in our study abroad program set themselves apart as leaders amongst their peers to employers. On average, they make $10,322 more in starting yearly salaries than those who did not participate in a study abroad experience. 

These students are not only exposed to the business world through internships and consulting experiences, but also a multitude of cultures, which allows them to expand their knowledge and experience to new levels of global understanding.

Funds raised through Tiger Giving Day will offset high (and oftentimes prohibitive) costs associated with study abroad experiences and support a “Business Summit Abroad” for students studying abroad in Madrid, Spain this summer. This summit will provide a panel of speakers, from a variety of companies, who will share their knowledge and experience of the ever-changing business world.
