Auburn University's elementary pre-service teachers need your help to purchase a class set of Ozobots for our summer STEM camp.
An Ozobot is an inexpensive, useful tool for students to explore robotics, coding, engineering, technology, scientific principles, and mathematics. An Ozobot is a small robot that can be utilized in kindergarten through grade six to explore measurement, design, and code robotic movement, problem solving, and forces in motion. This is an effective introduction to coding and robotics. Ozobots are also useful as a motivational and real-world tool to teach literacy, science, and mathematics principles and skills.
These digital tools help ensure our future teachers have the knowledge and skills they need to successfully use technology in their classrooms. Auburn University elementary pre-service teachers need to have multiple experiences integrating and using technology effectively before they begin teaching professionally.
With your help, we can ensure they have the digital skills and strategies they need to educate students in a technological world.
