More Chargers at RBD

At Auburn University, many of our students will spend hours per day studying on campus, especially at the RBD Library and in the new Mell Classroom Building, where they can come for either individual study or can collaborate with other students in our group-study rooms and active-learning environments. 

Students often need to borrow laptop chargers from our circulation desk because they prefer to stay on campus and study, rather than leave just because their computers run out of battery.  And, because we have so many students who use the RBD Library and its services on a daily basis, usually the demand for laptop chargers outweighs the supply.

This Tiger Giving Day, our goal is to have 130 donors participate in this project, which is the same number as the amount of student workers we have currently employed at RBD Library and who are often responsible for the maintenance and checking-out of the popular laptop chargers.  

The funds we raise with this project will go toward providing more chargers for students to use at the RBD Library so they can stay plugged in and never have to stop studying. Any gift you make today to this project will benefit the on-campus learning experiences of current and future Auburn students.
