Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Auburn University, better known as OLLI, provides academic, not-for-credit programming for adults age 50 and older. OLLI members participate in a variety of activities, including academic courses, social activities, lectures, workshops, and other events.
In October 2016, OLLI moved operations to Sunny Slope, an historic Auburn property donated by OLLI member Dr. Ann Pearson. Since the property was previously residential, we need to make several enhancements to better accommodate our members.
To encourage a sense of community at Sunny Slope, we would like to purchase outdoor furniture so our members can gather on the grounds and porch areas. Comfortable outdoor seating will facilitate more cognitive and social activities for OLLI members. It could also be used for tailgates, social engagements, and other outreach initiatives.
Please help us create a welcoming facility that reflects our mission.
