Whether challenging one's fears on the high ropes course, exploring the wildlife on the Coosa River, or learning about reptiles and amphibians, the Alabama 4-H Science School provides opportunities for all of Alabama’s youth. Our program offerings reinforce the Alabama Course of Study for grades K-12 in science, math, technology, language arts, engineering, physical education, and social studies.
The Alabama 4-H Science School is expanding to meet growing needs, and we need your help to raise $4,400 for program materials and classroom equipment. Your gifts on Tiger Giving Day will help us purchase a variety of materials to provide hands-on learning to enhance student education.
4-H is a nationwide youth organization administered by the land grant university system. In Alabama, Auburn University is home for 4-H headquarters and the agents and specialists who develop 4-H educational programs offered by the Alabama Cooperative Extension System. 4-H gives young people opportunities to learn by doing while led by experts from Auburn University and Alabama Extension who are versed in the latest advances in technology, agriculture, human development, and more.
Each year the Alabama 4-H Science School hosts over 22,000 students from across Alabama. Your gifts on Tiger Giving Day will help us as we engage in hands-on educational experiences that connect young people to the natural world and to each other.
