***We hit our goal, but we are still accepting donations to help get even more care packages to those who need them. Thank you!***
This Tiger Giving Day, provide the materials for Harrison School of Pharmacy’s (HSOP) students to prepare and distribute care packages for local residents in assisted-living facilities.
Because of visitor restrictions, residents are missing cherished, vital interactions with family and community members. They are also in need of some essential items.
We plan to create 300 packages with each package costing approximately $25 each. Care packages could contain the following: facial tissue, hand sanitizer, breath mints, general information on practicing good health and adhering to medical advice, a deck of cards, stationery, personal hygiene items (toothbrush, toothpaste, lotions, etc.), and a personal note from an Auburn student.
The HSOP Student Council will prepare these care packages and deliver them to the local assisted-living residents.
Support getting these vital and uplifting essentials to our community members today!
