Teach Adapted Sports

Auburn University Adapted Sports program is committed to teaching and growing competitive adaptive sports for people with disabilities.

With both wheelchair basketball and tennis programs performing well and growing, we want to share adapted sports with our community.

This Tiger Giving Day, you can help us purchase a van that will allow us to transport wheelchairs and equipment to different outreach events at local schools and military events.

These events allow children with disabilities the opportunity to try out adapted sports for the first time and increases awareness to their classmates without disabilities. Working with wounded warriors introduces them to adapted sports and helps with their transition.

Having the ability to transport all the wheelchairs, equipment, and student-athletes in one vehicle will ease transportation challenges. This vehicle will also serve as the primary vehicle for our wheelchair tennis team as they compete throughout the southeast.

Please support this project as we look to share adapted sports with others and grow our two programs.

Please share the link to our project with family and friends.

Thank you and War Eagle!
