Enable Young Professionals in Training

Outreach's Center for Educational Outreach & Engagement and Young Professionals in Training (YPiT) program needs to provide transportation, technology and educational materials for Auburn University student mentors and their mentees from the Lee and Macon County area. Funds will also help raise awareness for the YPiT program in Lee County and Macon County schools. 

YPiT is an Auburn University Outreach mentoring and tutoring program designed for 5th-12th grade students in the Lee and Macon County area. 

This program exposes students from underrepresented populations to majors and careers at Auburn University on campus, while also providing one-on-one mentoring and tutoring, community events and field trips, professional development, career exploration, civic engagement, social awareness and social-emotional learning, all with Auburn University students and faculty. 

YPiT's ultimate goal is to empower students and offer a pathway to Auburn University.
